From November 1st to the start of 2017, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC) will offer many ways for you to make a tax-deductible donation to help our families to stay with their sick child when they are recovering from illness or injury during this holiday season. 

14th annual “Give a Hand®” National Fundraiser - November 1st to13th

As part of the company's ongoing support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) - McDonald's® U.S. will kick-off the 14th annual “Give a Hand®” National Fundraiser (#giveahand) on November 1st.

The fundraiser takes place at participating McDonald's restaurants from November 1st to13th and allows customers to show their support for our charity by purchasing paper hands for $1, $3, $5 amounts. All proceeds from the paper hand sales are donated to RMHC. These fundraisers are a few ways McDonald’s encourages customers to give back and help bring happiness to families.

In addition to the in-restaurant fundraising program, customers could also show their support for RMHCSC by donating throughout the holidays during our “Season of Giving”. 

“Giving Tuesday Fundraiser “- November 29th

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California will again take part in the International Giving Tuesday online event on Tuesday, November 29th.  Giving Tuesday is a day that thousands of nonprofits across the globe push on digital and social media the message of giving to those in need during the festive holiday season is a true reason for the season.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S. and the shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday reminds people of the true reason philanthropy and the spirit of giving during the holidays and end-of-year giving.

In 2015, $116.7 Million was raised online for nonprofits across 71 nations to help those less fortunate and those in need.
