Bob Funari and special guest Gary Severns hosted a VIP Showcar Exhibit on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 and raised more than $6000 to benefit the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House.

The intimate event catered to 50 guests where they were able to enjoy wine and an assortment of delectable hors d’oeuvres. Also in attendance, Ronald McDonald, who lit up the room and mingled with guests as they took on the full Funari and Severns experience and viewed two of the finest exotic and classic car collections in Southern California. All car enthusiasts embarked on a tour of the Funari Collection in which Bob has handpicked his ‘best of the best’ vehicles for this private show. Featured in the Funari Collection was a Perana Z-One, a very rare car available in the United States where only six have been sold. Right next door, guests were able to travel through time as they viewed the Severns Collection. Beautifully restored and preserved cars from the 1930s through the 1950s were featured in Gary’s collection including his 1931 Marmon, a 3rd place winner at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Special thanks to all who attended and our gracious hosts, Bob and Pam Funari as well as Gary Severns. See you all at our 3rd Annual LBRMH Car Show on September 19th!

The funds raised during the Funari VIP Showcar Exhibit will support the 23-room Long Beach Ronald McDonald House, which serves as a “home-away-from home,” keeping families with children receiving life-saving medical treatment close by and together during a challenging time.
