The sun was shining, music was playing, and the fun times were rolling…

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, car entries, and supporters, we raised more than $45,000 to benefit the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House. These proceeds will help to provide a home-away-from-home for families facing the most difficult of life’s challenges: the illness of a child.

On Saturday September 19, 2015, we welcomed more than 120 cars, 13 show vendors and more than 500 spectators to Alamitos Bay Landing in Long Beach, CA for the 3rd Annual Car Show. As car enthusiasts arrived, they were greeted to tunes from The Boathouse on the Bay and enjoyed spectacular views of the Long Beach Peninsula and waterfront. In between viewing pristine cars guests could make their way into the craft beer garden which offered 10 beer varieties including brews from Ballast Point, Stella Artois, Sam Adams, and Elysian.  In addition to brews, people enjoyed tasty meals from the local eateries and food trucks.  Thank you to special guest Dave Kunz from KABC Channel 7 who emceed a host of raffle drawings and award presentations from the sunlit stage overlooking some of Long Beach’s finest yachts and boats. It was a great day for all.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House Car Show a roaring success.

About the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House

The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is committed to creating a community where children and their families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy. It serves as a “home-away-from-home” for families of children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses at nearby hospitals and medical facilities. Our House was built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. We believe that when a child is hospitalized the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.

Since opening our doors December 2011, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House has served more than 3000 families (more than 8,000 people), and we are able to do so thanks to supporters like you.
