On Saturday, November 12th, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House team hosted our annual Mac Tonight Gala at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios! With the help of our staff, Gala Co-Chairs David Hilton and Dwight Hotchkiss, Board of Trustees, volunteers, and friends, over 350 guests raised $400,000 to help keep families close.
Mac Tonight guests started the night by walking the red carpet, taking photos with Marilyn Monroe and Mac Tonight himself, bidding for items in the silent auction, and getting their intent word stamped on a bracelet by My Intent. Lumiere Photo Booth was also working hard in the lobby providing guests with a fun keepsake from the night.
The theater inside was beautifully decorated with help from Nicole of Cobalt Events, and guests ate a delicious meal while enjoying a program full of surprises! We honored Southwest Airlines and Shriners Hospital, bid on experiences and even a puppy in our live auction, inducted two new members into the Circle of Governors, heard the stories of two families who have been touched by our House, and watched Gregory Adamson paint a work of art right before our eyes! Thank you to Chef Jamie Gwen for hosting!
We are so thankful for each and every supporter of this event and of the House. We are already looking forward to next year’s event!
