Union Bank recently helped make history at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House’s Mac Tonight Gala with a corporate sponsorship. This year’s gala was the most successful yet, raising $400,000 to help fund the organization’s mission.
In addition to contributing to the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House’s signature gala, Union Bank has been a generous supporter of the House in many other ways over the last six years. Union Bank has been a corporate sponsor of the annual Walk for Kids fundraiser and participated in the event itself by walking as a team. In addition, Union Bank employees have given countless volunteer hours and service, helping to provide comfort, care, and support to families and children in Southern California. The company has also contributed even more funds to serve the House’s families through their charitable matching donations program.
Union Bank employees, Nick Koutouras and Justin Brauer, serve the House in a greater capacity by sitting on the Board of Trustees. Nick is finishing up two terms as Board President and has helped the program grow over the last few years. Justin is a recent addition to the Board, and he is looking forward to getting more involved. Both men have participated in Meals of Love by cooking dinner for the families, Walk for Kids teams, and numerous other events benefiting the House.
