Mike Scioscia launches Walk For Kids on April 12, 2015 and Councilmember Kris Murray presented a proclamation designating April 12, 2015 as Walk For Kids Day in the city of Anaheim.
This year’s honorary chair Mike Scioscia kicked off Orange County Ronald McDonald House’s biggest fundraiser: Walk for Kids. An estimated crowd of over 4,000 gathered for this annual event. Joining Mike Scioscia in the festivities was Ronald McDonald, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Anaheim Duck’s Wild Wing, and Coca Cola Polar Bear. Councilmember Kris Murray presented a proclamation designating April 12, 2015 as Walk For Kids Day in the city of Anaheim. The fundraising day was packed with fun filled activities for the entire family such as a rock wall, humongous live reptiles, face painting, a giant slide and of course delicious food. Multiple radio stations were on hand to ensure that music filled the air. Thanks to the hard work of our staff and several hundred volunteers for making this a memorable day for all those present!
