Apply today to join the Student Leadership Board of the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House
The Student Leadership Board (SLB) is a group of committed young people who create meaningful avenues of support for children and families who stay at the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House.
SLB members will learn and experience first-hand the different shapes that philanthropy can take by participating in structured activities that help them give of their time, talent and treasure. Operating as a team and focused on a goal larger than themselves, members will engage in meaningful service and fundraising activities while learning about the needs of a non-profit agency which will prepare them for future philanthropy or board service for charitable organizations.
We are looking for students who are 16 years and older and are willing to commit to SLB for the entirety of the school year. Applications are due by September 28, 2018. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by October 5.
Once the students have been accepted into the program, the next step is to attend the first meeting, scheduled to be held on Monday, October 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This meeting is mandatory for all Student Board members unless there is a prior mandatory engagement.
