Thank You Social Workers!

On March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day and the Orange County Ronald McDonald House held their annual Social Worker Appreciation Luncheon.

It was a beautiful day as sun beams glistened off the chandeliers hanging from the tent set up outside. The setup was lovely, with beautiful flowers centered on every table. The moment you walked in, the aroma of the delicious food could be smelled. Our lovely cooks outdid themselves by preparing asparagus, cajun grilled chicken, salmon and rice pilaf. The desert table was a tempting sight to see, with colorful cookies, and St. Patrick’s Day designed cupcakes.

Upon checking in our social workers received tickets for a chance to win some of our many gifts on our goodie tables. Three tables were filled with various prizes from exercise equipment, cooking essentials, gift cards to local businesses and much more. As tables began to fill, Executive Director Noel gave a heartfelt welcome and introduced our wonderful staff.  Noel expressed the vitality of Social Workers and the positive impact they make daily towards our mission.

Food was served and the room grew quite as everyone enjoyed the delicious meal. Next, tickets were pulled from the goodie bags and all our gifts were given away. Our Social Worker Luncheon was a delightful event.

The staff of Ronald McDonald House was overjoyed to have the social workers come and tour the house and see how their dedication provides comfort and support to deserving families.
