Dusk At the Grove Collage of images

Our 2017 Dusk at the Grove, presented by Antis Roofing & Waterproofing and CHOC Children’s, was a magical event. Cocktails, Cars and Fashion were all the rage at the City National Grove of Anaheim on October 12, 2017. We kicked off the show with a breath-taking performance by Freedom Aerial and the fun continued with 23 Friends of the House working the runway for a spectacular fashion show.  Our generous donor partners raised over $220,000 to provide comfort, care and support to families with critically ill children receiving treatments in local Hospitals.

Thank you to Elie Tahari, Bailey/44, Macy's, Faherty, La Galleria and Along Came A Spider who graciously outfitted our models in the season's latest trends. The fashion highlights included; CHOC @ Mission VP/Chief Nursing Officer Marcia Folli, Antis Roofing CEO Charles Antis & Family, Robert Half Senior Vice President John Schafer, McDonald's Owner/Operator Virginia Maginone and many more.

Thank you to our gracious live auction donors which include Pelican Hill, Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, two chef table dinners; Mesa and Selanne’s, Steelcraft, celebrity Chef Keith Prante, Mixologist Brad Horner, live entertainment by Moses Lin and centerpieces from White Sakura.

Thank you to the Brooks Family, Orange County Ronald McDonald House guests, for sharing your medical journey and the impact the House had on your journey.

We are so grateful for the companies and individuals that made the night possible. Thank you to Event Chair Katie Rucker, MacKenzie Corporation President, our dedicated committee, our McDonald's family, generous sponsors, and guests.  We can’t thank you enough for all that you do to help us care for our families when they need it most. See you next year!
